Product Specialist

Korean Bilingual preferred - not required

Schedule: Fully onsite (Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Top 3 must-haves:

• 2-4 years of HA experience w/ in-home service experience & Home appliance product management, development or related field.

• Develop and maintain product readiness plans, including timelines, milestones and key deliverables.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Summary:

The main function of a product specialist is to be the subject matter expert on a product through its development. The typical product specialist will provide technical advice to customers concerning their product

Specific responsibilities include:

• Evaluate new model concept, functions and design for quality improvement prior to mass production.
• Collaborate with HQ and factories to ensure the new products are ready launch, confirm meeting all necessary requirements, including product evaluation, user trial, and training.
• Data based quality sensing with primary focus on Annual Service Rate analysis for Home Appliance product improvement
• Analyze, evaluate and test various Home Appliance Product Categories top symptoms and issues that drive high Redo, identify root cause and corrective actions with internal teams, HQ and Factories.

Knowledge/expertise/experience

• Strong understanding of product development or management process and experience with home appliance related field (3-5 2-4years).
• Understanding manufacturing, engineering and product design.
• Experience with quality analysis, product testing and validation.
• Proficient w/ excel, PPT & computer savvy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment.

This position will primarily focus on: Identify and address any issues that may impact product launch by working closely with cross-functional teams, including HQ, Product engineers, Contact center, training and Field Service.

Not looking for heavy engineering b/g; looking for candidate w/ HA service industry experience.

Position will entail: Develop and maintain product launch plans, and ensure product meets quality expectations. Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are ready for launch and complete all projects/tasks within schedule.

What we value: In-home service experience & Home appliance product management, development or related field is really helpful when trying to develop and maintain product launch. However, those from Engineering b/g with knowledge of service business will help!
