We are seeking a Product Specialist, Privacy to support the development, enhancement, and day-to-day operations of our privacy technology solutions. Working closely with Product Managers, Legal, Engineering, and business stakeholders, this role helps translate business and regulatory requirements into product improvements, supports platform administration, and contributes to delivering scalable privacy capabilities across the organization.

Key responsibilities include supporting privacy product roadmaps, driving compliance initiatives (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.), improving workflows, overseeing platform access and governance, and ensuring successful delivery of privacy capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Manager in executing the privacy product roadmap and delivering strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining business, operational, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, product documentation, and process flows.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Engineering, Security, and business teams to support product enhancements and system integrations.
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release activities.
  • Monitor product performance, user feedback, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with platform administration, including workflow configuration, access requests, reporting, and issue tracking.
  • Help investigate production issues, coordinate resolution efforts, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Support vendor coordination and assist with implementation of new product capabilities.
  • Contribute to documentation, training materials, and user enablement activities.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Stay current on evolving privacy regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, privacy operations, compliance technology, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Interest in privacy, compliance, governance, or enterprise technology solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or other data protection frameworks.
  • Familiarity with privacy management platforms or governance tools.
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications, workflows, or enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of APIs, data flows, or system integrations.
  • Experience participating in Agile ceremonies and software delivery processes.
  • Relevant coursework or certifications (e.g., CSPO, Agile Fundamentals, CIPP Foundations, or similar) are a plus.
