Role: Product Strategy Senior Consultant

The Work You'll Do

You connect the dots between what customers need and what businesses can deliver and you make it real with product. As a Product Strategy Senior Consultant at Slalom, you'll advise clients on how to transform their products and product experiences in ways that are human-centered, data-informed, AI-enabled, and built to last.

This isn't surface-level strategy work. You'll dig into research and insights, revenue analytics, experience strategy, and service design to shape solutions that move businesses forward across product, marketing, sales, service, and technology.

You'll work in a world where AI accelerates much of what we do, but where the best outcomes still hinge on human judgment, relationships, creativity, and the ability to ask the right questions. That's where you come in.

• You naturally gravitate toward complex, ambiguous problems and find clarity where others see noise
• You think in systems connecting customer behavior, business goals, and organizational dynamics into a coherent picture
• You love to define, test and iterate on product strategy
• You're as comfortable in a client workshop as you are in a spreadsheet or a strategy deck
• You care about outcomes, not just outputs
• You're curious about AI and actively experimenting with how it can sharpen your thinking and work

What You'll Be Working On

• Product Strategy shaping the vision, positioning, and roadmap for products that win in the market by being genuinely built around customer needs and long-term business viability
• Experience Strategy reimagining how organizations deliver value through experience optimizing what exists, modernizing what's outdated, and reinventing what's holding revenue back
• Service Design translating strategy into operational reality by designing the people, processes, and systems that make great product experiences consistently deliverable at scale
• Customer & Market Research generating validated, actionable insight through qualitative, quantitative, and AI-powered methods that give clients the confidence to make bold decisions
• Revenue Analytics connecting the dots between product investments and financial outcomes so clients know exactly where to place their bets
• Strategic Planning turning ambiguity into direction through roadmaps, maturity assessments, and transformation plans that give organizations a clear path forward
• Workshop Facilitation designing and leading sessions that cut through complexity, align stakeholders, and turn conversation into committed action

What You Bring

• 5+ years in product strategy or management consulting at a management consulting firm, digital agency, product shop, or full-service creative agency
• A track record of independently driving complex workstreams with minimal direction
• Experience working across disciplines collaborating with designers, technologists, data scientists, and business leaders
• Comfort experimenting with agentic AI flows and prototyping tools to enhance strategy development
• MBA or post-graduate degree preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication you know how to tell a story and tailor it to your audience
• Executive presence with genuine relationship-building instincts
• Authorized to work in the US without restriction
• Located near a Slalom office

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges.

The targeted base salary pay range per year for Consultant Located in:

Miami & Tampa FL, Atlanta GA, Denver CO, Chicago IL, Dallas & Houston TX, Hartford CT, Nashville TN. Raleigh NC is $89,000 to $109,000

Boston MA, New York NY, Washington DC is $97,000 to $119,000

In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individuals skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
