Product Support Manager -- Roadheaders

The Product Support Manager provides technical support both internally to Sandvik and externally to customers/end users. This role works closely with factory aftermarket and product management as well as account management, sales area parts planning, and field service with a dedicated field service team and potential product specialist(s) reporting into it.

This role will also oversee workforce planning, safety, equipment, and operational standards in alignment with both customer and Sandvik policies.

Additionally, this role identifies, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements to existing product portfolios or strategic product portfolio extensions, makes spare/on-site support stocking recommendations, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.

Actively participates in New Product Development planning, trialing and customer validation when required

Sponsors, sets priority, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception and throughout operation.
