PGS Worldwide is seeking a Trainer in Palmdale, California for a 6-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite position supports computer applications training by designing and administering training programs for personnel at multiple levels. The role focuses on developing training content, coordinating class delivery, evaluating effectiveness, and supporting certification-related training activities.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience with GLX Global Learning Exchange
- Experience creating content in GLX
- Experience designing and administering computer applications training programs
- Experience developing training tests and evaluating work
- Ability to coordinate class arrangements and conduct training classes
- Ability to develop criteria for evaluating training effectiveness
- Ability to stay current on information technology training needs, trends, methods, materials, and techniques
Preferred Skills
- Previous iSpring experience
What You’ll Do
- Design and administer computer applications training programs
- Develop training materials, including visual aids
- Create iSpring content, tests, visuals, and voiceovers
- Support LX certification generation
- Develop training tests and evaluate learner performance
- Coordinate class arrangements and conduct training classes
- Develop criteria to measure training effectiveness
- Stay current on IT training methods, materials, and emerging needs
Work Schedule / Shift
- Monday through Thursday
- 4x10 schedule
