Position Summary

The Planning & Reliability Engineer will support Product Verification & Validation (PV&V) activities by planning, coordinating, and tracking testing programs. This role focuses on managing test execution processes rather than performing hands-on testing, working closely with design engineering, lab teams, and validation engineers to ensure timely and effective program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate testing activities for product development programs ranging from component-level to full system validation
• Develop and execute PV&V plans including virtual analysis, lab testing, and field validation
• Track program progress, perform critical analysis, and communicate updates across cross-functional teams
• Coordinate work across engineers, technicians, and mechanics to evaluate product performance and reliability
• Collaborate with design, validation, and lab teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and timelines
• Provide technical support to cross-functional groups including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply management, and marketing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with product development and/or verification & validation testing
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Proven problem-solving ability
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must be demonstrated in work experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis and PV&V testing processes
• Knowledge of outdoor power equipment or similar products
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., PDCA, 8D, 5 Whys)
