2nd shift: 1:30pm-9:30pm Monday - Friday

Job Summary
Under limited supervision, operates equipment such as small presses, riveters, welders and drivers. The machines may be manual or automatic; adjustments are of a routine nature. Tolerances are normally close but not difficult to measure or maintain. Produces a variety of assemblies or subassemblies.
Other duties as required by Management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in LEAN manufacturing
2. Participate in Kaizen activities
3. Notify supervisor/group leader of quality discrepancies
4. Label and wrap skids
5. Conduct inventory
Qualifications
Experience in a factory setting preferred. Accuracy in recordkeeping, following directions, adaptability, team – oriented, able to accept change and require little or no supervision. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience in a factory setting preferred. Must be able to keep detailed records and demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
Language & Communication Skills
English language preferred. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Required Skills
1. Accuracy – must be detailed oriented
2. Mathematical competency - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, twist, and walk. Also includes lifting, push/pull, and grasping. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
