2nd Shift Production Associate – Port of Catoosa, OK
HireCall is hiring 2nd Shift Production Associates for a valued manufacturing client at the Port of Catoosa!
Looking for a full-time manufacturing opportunity with a built-in pay increase? Join a growing team where you'll receive hands-on training and have the opportunity to transition to the client's payroll with an immediate raise.
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour through HireCall
Raise: Receive an immediate increase to $19.00/hour upon successful completion of the temporary assignment and transition to the client's full-time payroll.
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and operation of a slitting line
- Move steel material safely throughout the warehouse using an overhead crane or sit-down forklift
- Read and interpret tape measurements accurately
- Perform basic measurements using calipers and micrometers (training available)
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete basic computer data entry
- Follow all safety procedures and assist with other production duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure is required
- Experience using calipers and micrometers is preferred but training is available
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer skills
- Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willingness to work overtime on Fridays when needed
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Work safely in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
