Job Details

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own daily production accounting for 30 operated wells — this is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role
  • Reconcile purchaser statements against system data to make sure volumes and payments match
  • Handle the manual, administrative day-to-day
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment collection for all production sold
  • Enter run tickets and production data to keep records clean and current
  • Prepare and file monthly reports with the Texas Railroad Commission and New Mexico Oil Conservation Division
  • Set up new wells and equipment configurations in Quorum ODP
  • Enter run tickets and contract compressor data for third-party contractors who don't have direct system access
  • Submit drilling permits, well completions, saltwater disposal, and commingling applications
  • Support general accounting duties as needed — this is a small team and everyone pitches in
  • Monitor incoming emails and make sure documents are saved and organized

What We're Looking For:

  • Accounting professional with AP/AR, reconciliations (preferably from oil and gas company)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable owning the work in a small, hands-on team
  • Quorum ODP and/or ODA experience strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of RRC and NMOCD filing requirements
  • Experience with state bonds or surety bond compliance is a plus
