Production Accountant$75000 - $95000 per year | Austin, TX | On-Site | PermanentA bit about us:An oil & gas company seeks Production Regulatory Accountant to join their team.Why join us?Competitive CompensationGreat Health BenefitsHybrid after 3–6 monthsMidland or Austin location flexibilitySmall team/close-knit environmentDirect visibility to ownership/managementJob DetailsWhat You'll Be Doing:Manage and reconcile daily and monthly production volumes (oil, gas, water, NGLs) at the well, lease, and tank battery levelSet up new wells, facilities, and equipment configurations in Quorum ODPCollect, enter, and validate daily production data including run tickets, gas sales, and water productionIdentify and resolve variances between production data and purchaser statementsPrepare and file monthly reports with the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) and New Mexico Oil Conservation Division (NMOCD)Submit drilling permits, well completions, saltwater disposal, and commingling applicationsRecord revenue receipts and match cash collections to validated production volumesTrack timing differences between field production months and cash receipt monthsAnalyze Lease Operating Expenses (LOE) and support month-end closeWhat We're Looking For:2–5 years of upstream oil and gas experience in production accounting or regulatory affairsQuorum ODP and/or ODA experience strongly preferredSolid understanding of RRC and NMOCD filing requirementsJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
