Job Summary
As a Production / Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will take ownership of Rangeview's production processes and help build one of the most advanced aerospace foundries in the world. You will work directly on the factory floor to develop, qualify, and implement production methods, equipment, and automation solutions that support Rangeview's transition from low-rate production to scalable volume manufacturing.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is comfortable working across hardware, process development, equipment qualification, production troubleshooting, and automation implementation. A successful candidate will demonstrate determination, integrity, intellectual curiosity, collaboration, creativity, and comfort challenging the status quo.
This position's internal job code is Production Engineer. We are currently hiring for Levels 2 and 3IC.

Responsibilities
Review designs for producibility and lead efforts to transition hardware from low-rate initial production to volume production.
Research, design, modify, and test production methods and equipment based on a deep understanding of hardware and software requirements.
Improve production efficiency and effectiveness by analyzing workflows, optimizing space utilization, and maximizing equipment throughput without compromising quality.
Ensure hardware and process quality by establishing standards, designing testing methods, and implementing rate production validation processes.
Inform production strategy by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing process information and trends to propose solutions for achieving future throughput and cost targets.
Support equipment uptime and technician utilization to ensure conforming hardware is delivered on schedule.
Develop, document, and improve production processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Partner with engineering, operations, technicians, and leadership to troubleshoot production issues and implement practical solutions.
Support equipment qualification, commissioning, process validation, and handoff into reliable production use.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, ABET-accredited preferred, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience.
Proficiency aggregating and analyzing technical data to make objective, data-informed decisions.
Experience developing processes using DOE or similar structured, multi-path experimentation methods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization, including technicians, engineers, operations, and leadership.
Competency with CAD software.
Must be able to work full-time, W2, on-site in El Segundo, CA.
Must be able to meet ITAR/U.S. export control requirements, including being a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, production, process, automation, or test engineering in aerospace, automotive, industrial, or commercial manufacturing environments.
Experience in the investment casting industry.
Intermediate CAD modeling capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to scale production throughput.
Familiarity with WMS, MES, and ERP systems.
Experience qualifying, operating, troubleshooting, or maintaining industrial equipment.
Experience implementing automation, equipment upgrades, production fixtures, tooling, or factory process improvements.
Experience supporting production ramp from prototype or low-rate production into higher-volume manufacturing.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support production needs, equipment installations, urgent troubleshooting, or factory ramp milestones.
Must be comfortable working on the production floor around industrial equipment, technicians, materials, and active manufacturing processes.
Must follow all safety protocols and maintain awareness when working in active production environments.

Compensation: $108,000 - $154,000 annually + equity
Level 2: $108,000 - $132,000 annually + equity
Level 3IC: $126,000 - $154,000 annually + equity
