What will you do?Performs packaging line operations, including operating/monitoring equipment, inspection, hand cartoning or packing, labeling, palletizing, cleanup, hopper fillingAssists in line clearances between batches, changeovers, and follow cleanup sheet directionsAssists with troubleshooting of equipment and process issuesMaintains accurate, neat, error free records such as line packaging records (LPR)Accurately follows production documents, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs)Monitors operations for deviations, quality risk, or mechanical problems and elevates issues as neededIdentifies safety, quality, and efficiency improvements and actively participates in learning organization developmentMaintains a neat work area and follows department safety rulesAttends scheduled trainings as determined by supervisor and completes annual trainingPerforms duties in other work areas as required.How will you get here?Education/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentManufacturing Operations or Packaging experience (GMP facility preferred)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Experience in pharmaceutical production preferredMechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble and reassemble various types of equipment.Basic reading comprehension and math skills necessary to follow complex technical instructions and complete LPR calculations.Good communication skills and ability to work both individually and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a wide variety of work assignmentsComputer skills preferredAbility to lift materials weighing up to 35 lbs. throughout the shift as needed to complete assignmentsJob requires wearing personal protective equipment to include white zone gowning requirements and various styles of respirators (1/2 face, 3-M hood, full face, and dust mask).
