Production and Tolling Planner (Supply Chain)

Location: Northbrook, IL (Onsite)

Make an impact at Bell Flavors & Fragrances. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team in a role that supports efficient manufacturing operations and strong customer service. The Production and Tolling Planner supports daily production planning activities through accurate data management, effective coordination of tolling operations, and close collaboration across departments. This role helps ensure alignment between demand, supply, and production by maintaining reliable system data in D365, supporting schedule execution, and helping materials move smoothly between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production activity with external tollers, intercompany sites, and third-party partners.
  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, and forecast-related data in D365.
  • Support execution of production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability.
  • Monitor tolling activity and material flow to help ensure on-time availability.
  • Generate reports and analyze trends related to production status, floorstock, inventory, and tolling operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Service, Procurement, Production, and IT to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Help maintain compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures.

Your Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, data management, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with ERP systems; D365 and WMS experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills with a high level of data accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • APICS certification is a plus.
