Production Artist - 1st Shift

Location: Largo, FL

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist to join our team in Largo, FL. In this role, you will prepare and modify artwork for a variety of promotional products, ensuring each project meets client specifications and company quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Adobe Illustrator experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare artwork for production, including layout, sizing, color matching, color separation, and artwork touchups.
• Review and proof artwork files for accuracy, quality, and print readiness.
• Ensure artwork meets customer specifications before production.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting production deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with production and customer service teams to resolve artwork questions.
• Maintain organized digital files and workflows.
• Follow company quality control standards throughout the production process.
• Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required.
• Experience with prepress and print production is preferred.
• Knowledge of silk screening, pad printing, heat transfer, or four-color process printing is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when business needs require.

Work Environment

• Primarily a seated workstation using a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional time spent on the production floor reviewing finished products.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple deadlines.
