Production Artist - 1st Shift
Location: Largo, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist to join our team in Largo, FL. In this role, you will prepare and modify artwork for a variety of promotional products, ensuring each project meets client specifications and company quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Adobe Illustrator experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare artwork for production, including layout, sizing, color matching, color separation, and artwork touchups.
- Review and proof artwork files for accuracy, quality, and print readiness.
- Ensure artwork meets customer specifications before production.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting production deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with production and customer service teams to resolve artwork questions.
- Maintain organized digital files and workflows.
- Follow company quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required.
- Experience with prepress and print production is preferred.
- Knowledge of silk screening, pad printing, heat transfer, or four-color process printing is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime when business needs require.
Work Environment
- Primarily a seated workstation using a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional time spent on the production floor reviewing finished products.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple deadlines.
