The Production Artist is responsible for the collateral of 84 Lumber Company and outside customers. This position primarily assists with pre-flighting files in Adobe Illustrator by preparing cut paths, adding bleed, reviewing and uploading files, and handling minor design tasks. The candidate is expected to gain an understanding of our printers, CNC router, cutters, plotters, and laser. This position works closely with the sales and production teams to create print-ready artwork, balancing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position does not require any supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
The incumbent is located in a busy office area and is faced with constant interruptions on a regular basis.
Physical Demands
This position requires frequent sitting, use of hands, talking and listening. Periodically this position walks, stands and reaches. Rarely, this position climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouch or crawl.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work depends on store hours of operations, 45+ hours per week.

No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
