Job Title: Production Artist

Contract Duration: 3 months, possible extension

Work Arrangement: Remote

Working Hours: 8am-5pm CST

Pay Range: $45-$50/hour

Summary

The contractor will support the conversion, formatting, and production of customer-facing forms and communications. This role will work closely with business content owners, project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure documents are delivered accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Convert and reformat complex documents in Microsoft Word using macros, scripts, style sheets, and templates to align with established design and formatting standards.
• Collaborate with business content owners to prepare forms and communications for production.
• Perform quality reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with formatting requirements.
• Upload, organize, and maintain documents within SharePoint and Directus repositories.
• Support document conversion and production activities within OpenText Exstream and related content management platforms.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives, including automation of manual document preparation and formatting activities.
• Partner with project managers, business teams, and technical resources to meet project timelines and deliverables.

Preferred Experience

• Forms conversion or document production within a regulated environment.
• Customer communication design and production.
• Content management systems and document composition platforms.
• Process automation using Microsoft Office tools and scripting techniques.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including:

• Macros

• Scripts

• Style sheets/templates

• Complex document formatting

• Adobe Acrobat Pro

• Microsoft SharePoint

• Microsoft Excel

• Basic scripting and coding experience
