Job Designation:
The Production Assembler 2 performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations under moderate guidance and in accordance with company policies and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
" Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
" Conducts inspections of own work and/or the work of other associates to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and/or customer drawings and specifications.
" Applies process specifications governing the production of products within an assigned cell and records production time and quantity data.
" Maintains the work area in accordance with company guidelines and participates in events as required.
" Performs basic welding, brazing, or soldering tasks and may operate light machinery such as sandblasting, electro-etching equipment, and presses.
" Actively follows and demonstrates all safety policies and procedures.
" Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
" Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. May be required to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as needed.
Qualifications:
" Skilled in routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations.
" Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery.
" Ability to read and interpret company documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures.
" Strong manual dexterity with the ability to work with small parts.
" Ability to recognize and resolve routine problems within the work area by selecting solutions from established options.
" Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Education & Experience:
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, combined with work experience that supports successful job performance.
Certifications:
Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
