    Job Description

    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures, MPS, and Philosophy.
    • Read tags to verify material type, color, and size, etc. are correct.
    • Complete quality control charts as required per standard operating procedures.
    • Produce a vent, window, or door panel with minimal breakage and acceptable quality.
    • Keep all parts (rollers, screws, etc.) stocked at all times.
    • Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job.
    • Proper usage of personal protective equipment.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Window manufacturing, preferred.
    • Glass handling and/or glass knowledge a plus.

    ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:

    • Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure.
    • Good hand eye coordination and the ability to discern colors.
    • Ability to work in, and promote, a team environment.
    • Capable of lifting 20 – 100, per SOP.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
    • Hearing protection and safety glasses required, additional safety equipment provided based on specific job.
    • Work surfaces are primarily concrete with anti-fatigue mats provided where feasible. Personnel will stand while performing their respective job functions, for up to 12 hours a day.
