POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor of Parker Meggitt Danville, Kentucky Distribution Center. This position is responsible for day-to-day assembly of component pieces into aircraft wheels and brakes. With appropriate training the individual will be required to perform functional testing of finished assemblies and prepare product for shipping to customers. This individual will also be responsible for participation in continuous improvement activities daily and on project teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for inspecting, cleaning and assembling aerospace components into final assembly and performing required testing necessary for final product acceptance. The individual will read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions and perform mechanical assembly processes.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED. Secondary certificate/training preferred.
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field
Years Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing environment is required. The individual must be able to read and interpret blueprints and must possess the necessary mathematic skills associated with discreet part manufacturing. They must be able to read product specifications and follow written work instructions.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S persons within the meaning of ITAR.
