POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

KettenWulf seeks a Product Assembler to join the recent expansion of KettenWulf Inc.’s manufacturing operation based in Auburn, AL. This role will be responsible for assembly of engineered conveyor chains from pre-finished parts in preparation for final delivery to customers. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate hydraulic press for the assembly of engineered conveyor chains (pre-assembly and final assembly)
  • Load, position, press and package components and chain strands
  • Perform basic machine and quality inspections, including dimensional and visual checks
  • Document production data and inspection results
  • Identify difficulties or non-conformities and report to supervisors
  • Maintain, calibrate and set-up assembly tooling and equipment
  • Follow company and industrial safety procedures and regulations
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying potential process or product improvement areas

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience with manufacturing or metalworking machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis
  • Conscientious, detail-oriented, and safe approach to your work area and work product
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Basic math and measurement skills for part alignment and quality verification
  • Flexibility, willingness to work shifts
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Forklift or crane operator certificate desired but not required
