Production Assembler

Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for Production Assembler to help a leading diagnostics company in Longmont, CO.  The Production Assembler will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly as part of pilot-scale manufacturing of disposable medical devices. Responsible for safely and correctly operating chemical, automated and assembly equipment. Correctly package product and prepare for shipment. Visually inspect “in process” and “final” product assemblies to ensure quality of product. Participate in inventory counts and audits; communicate findings from assigned tasks. Able to effectively operate at two or more workstations in the manufacturing area.

Schedule: Will train Monday - Friday  8am - 4:30, after training will move to the weekend shift Friday - Sunday 6am -6:30pm 

Experience

• Prior “hands-on” mechanical assembly experience using hand tools and automated equipment preferred.
• Prior documented experience working in a controlled environment (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or FDA Quality Management Systems) preferred.
• Ability to carefully follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs), document production details accurately, and interpret quality control results for final product release.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to successfully work in a team environment.
• Inventory control experience and Shipping/Receiving experience desirable.
