Analog Modules, Inc. is recruiting an experienced and motivated Production Assembler III to join our team.
Analog Modules, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation (NYSE:HEI) located in Longwood, Florida, is a research, development and production company working at the frontier of analog, high frequency and electro-optic design.
The Production Assembler III performs assembly operations to produce electronic assemblies and subassemblies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Solders PCB assemblies using thru hole or SMT (Surface Mount Technology) soldering under microscope and box build / mechanical assembly.
- Performs electrical wiring involving cutting, stripping, soldering, or crimping of wires.
- Attempts to complete work within budgeted assembly time which may consist of PCB Assemblies (SMT, Through Hole), optical components (die, detectors), subassemblies, cables, metal chassis, and hardware. Works with conformal coatings. Mixes, applies, and cures epoxies. Follows proper handling procedures.
- Performs soldering per J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Class 3 Standards, build engineering prototypes and assist in development of new assembly processes. Does system level assembly from schematic drawings.
- Completes assemblies or subassemblies per documentation provided by the engineering department. Works to approved documentation such as assembly prints, (SOP) Standards Operation Procedures, Manufacturing Routers, and (WI) Work Instructions.
- Documents time spent on individual jobs on route sheets and timecards.
- Provides feedback to the supervisor regarding problems, issues and ideas for improvement.
- Capable to act as lead and provide guidance and training to Assembler I and Assembler II Team Members. Supports Quality and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Certification to J-STD-001 and / or IPC-A-610 Standards, preferred
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook)
Analog Modules' Team Members work a 9/80 schedule which means our workweek splits on Friday. Full-time Team Members work 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday and 8 hours on Friday one week of our pay period. The following week they work 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday and have that Friday off. This allows Team Members to enjoy a three-day weekend twice a month.
