This role involves assembling electronic products by hand-placing small components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and building chassis assemblies in an electronics manufacturing environment. You will work at a designated station, primarily seated, following basic work orders and technical documentation to ensure accurate placement and assembly of through-hole components. This is an entry-level position that requires strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and an interest in learning electronic assembly skills.
ResponsibilitiesYou join a growing electronics manufacturer that offers clear opportunities to advance from entry-level roles into operator and line lead positions over time. The role starts as a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing a pathway to long-term employment as the organization expands its workforce over the next several years. You benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; critical illness, accident, and hospital benefits; a 401(k) retirement plan with pre-tax and post-tax contribution options; voluntary life and AD&D insurance for you and your dependents; short- and long-term disability coverage; a Health Spending Account (HSA); transportation benefits; and an Employee Assistance Program. You work in an environment that values skill development, internal growth, and career progression for motivated employees.
Work EnvironmentWork takes place in an ESD-controlled electronics manufacturing environment where you handle sensitive electronic components and assemblies. You will work primarily in the materials area at a dedicated workstation, often in a seated position, assembling PCBs and chassis components. Safety glasses are required at all times in this area, and ESD protocols must be followed to protect electronic components. The role offers multiple shift options, including a daylight schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the possibility of up to one hour of overtime per day and no weekend work, as well as a second shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with optional Friday overtime for an 8-hour shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The facility is structured, safety-focused, and equipped for electronic assembly, providing a stable production environment with consistent hours and clear procedures.
