Job Overview
We are seeking a precision-oriented Production Assembler to join our manufacturing production team. In this role, you will assemble mechanical units, fabricated components, and electrical/electronic systems to build high-quality subassemblies and complete units using standard hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures.
Working within structured guidelines, you will be responsible for fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting components to exact tolerances while troubleshooting and repairing units that fall outside quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble complex mechanical components, subassemblies, and electrical/electronic systems according to technical work instructions and schematics.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, specialized jigs, fixtures, and measurement equipment to construct complete product units.
  • Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanical assemblies to meet strict operating requirements and dimensional tolerances.
  • Inspect completed assemblies and perform basic rework or repairs on units that do not meet quality testing standards.
  • Follow detailed, defined standard operating procedures to maintain consistent output, product quality, and workplace safety.
  • Identify straightforward assembly issues and select established solutions to maintain smooth production flow.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, or manufacturing production is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic calibration/measuring devices.
  • Blueprint & Process Reading: Comfort following detailed written rules, assembly instructions, and technical guidelines.
  • Precision & Quality Focus: High attention to detail with the manual dexterity needed to align small parts and meet tight specifications.
  • Physical Capabilities: Comfortable performing routine, manual assembly tasks in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Availability: Ability to work a consistent 4x10 day schedule (Monday through Thursday, 5:30 AM 4:00 PM).
