- Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
- Prepare parts for testing and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Perform complex machine setup and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels, repairing as necessary.
- Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
- Inspect and test work for quality.
- Perform and log scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment.
- Determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
- Stage job materials for production according to procedure.
