SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Production Assemblers for a large, well-known client in Roanoke, TX. As a Production Assembler, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient mechanical assembly of natural gas fuel systems using various materials, parts, and sub-assemblies.

The Production Assembler is responsible for hands-on mechanical assembly, utilizing tooling and equipment to complete high-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hour) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.Available shifts vary. Overtime may be available based on production needs.
Responsibilities of the Production Assembler:
  • Read work orders, blueprints, production schedules, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations and required materials.
  • Assemble sub-assemblies, structural components, and plumbing for natural gas fuel systems.
  • Follow all required steps in the standard assembly work process.
  • Inspect components for consistency and critical fits during assembly.
  • Verify assembly work to ensure defect-free products prior to final quality control inspection.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain various tools and production equipment.
  • Complete handwritten and electronic documentation to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and execute Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications of the Production Assembler:
  • Minimum 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to obtain Texas Railroad Commission certification for CNG service and installation within 45 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license (if driving on behalf of the company is required).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
