Cleanroom Production Operator - Pump Department

Join a growing manufacturing team where you'll play a hands-on role in building and testing medical-grade pump products. Working in a cleanroom environment, you'll assemble components, perform quality checks, record test results, and help ensure products meet high standards before shipment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy detailed work, teamwork, and a structured production environment.

What You'll Do Assemble electro-mechanical pump components using small hand tools and established procedures.

• Rotate between workstations on the production line to support daily manufacturing goals.
• Operate from a workstation equipped with a laptop to monitor testing and record production data.
• Perform pump testing, basic troubleshooting, and quality inspections.
• Accurately document test results, production activities, and batch records.
• Inspect products and components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Package finished products according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cleanroom environment.
• Collaborate with team members to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
• Follow all cleanroom, safety, and PPE requirements.

What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, cleanroom, or quality-focused environments preferred.
• Comfort using small hand tools and performing repetitive assembly tasks.
• Basic computer skills and experience entering data accurately.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn new processes.

Preferred Qualifications Previous cleanroom or regulated manufacturing experience.

• Experience with product testing, inspection, or quality assurance processes.
• Ability to adapt to different workstations and production needs.

Work Environment

This position operates in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. Employees work at individual benches or workstations and may sit or stand throughout the shift. Required PPE includes a cleanroom suit, shoe covers, hairnet, mask, and gloves. The environment is highly organized, quality-focused, and team-oriented, with an emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and production excellence.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.

The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
