As a Production Line Assembler, you'll help produce high-quality accessories and gas and wood stoves/inserts through efficient, repetitive line operations. You'll work closely with your team to ensure smooth production and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
What You'll Do
As a Production Line Assembler, you will be responsible for
- Placing parts in specified relationships and fastening them securely using bolts, screws, and cements
- Operating pneumatic hoists to lift and handle stove components
- Moving along different work stations, adjusting tasks based on the model being assembled
- Applying touch-up paint to finished products as needed
- Maintaining staging areas to keep traffic lanes clear and reduce waste (e.g., pallet, trash, and cardboard recycling)
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, especially handling materials over 10 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and meet attendance expectations
- Willingness to learn basic computer skills and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
