We are currently seeking motivated Production Assemblers to hire in the Malta, NY area. The ideal candidate will have prior assembly, manufacturing, or production experience and/or the willingness to learn. This position is responsible for assembling industrial LED lighting fixtures and components while maintaining quality and production standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19-$20 per hour

Tasks for Production Assembler:
- Assemble industrial LED lighting fixtures and components
- Build and install wire harnesses and electrical connections
- Perform quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet specifications
- Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
- Accurately assemble products with minimal errors or rework
- Assist at multiple assembly stations as needed
- Package and label finished products
Qualifications for Production Assembler:
- No experience required – willing to train
- Light assembly experience preferred
- Manufacturing or production experience helpful
- Experience with wire harnesses, electrical components, or electronics assembly is a plus
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Work Schedule for Production Assembler:
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: Overtime as needed
- Saturday: Overtime as needed
- 10-hour shifts
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for small-part assembly
- Standing for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move components and finished products up to 25-50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Equipment Used:
- Hand tools (screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers, etc.)
- Assembly fixtures and workstations
- Testing equipment for lighting products
