Join American-Marsh Pumps, a Wilo Company , as a Production Assembly Technician and become part of a team that manufactures industry-leading pump systems used in municipal, industrial, commercial, and water management applications. This position is ideal for dependable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy hands-on mechanical work, working as part of a collaborative team, and learning multiple aspects of manufacturing operations. What You'll Do Assemble vertical turbine pumps, horizontal pumps, pump heads, and related equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, work orders, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, specifications, and production documentation. Utilize hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, overhead cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect components for quality, proper fit, alignment, and functionality throughout the assembly process. Support Test Lab operations by assisting with pump teardown, assembly, repair, troubleshooting, and preparation for performance testing as assigned. Complete production documentation and maintain quality records. Follow Lean Manufacturing and 6S workplace organization standards. Cross-train across multiple production areas to support changing business and customer demands. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team success. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, industrial maintenance, automotive, or related fields preferred. Ability to read measuring devices and interpret assembly drawings preferred. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Positive attitude and commitment to safety. Physical Demands and Work Environment Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; heavier items require team lifting or mechanical assistance. Operate overhead cranes, hoists, hand carts, and production equipment safely. Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving mechanical equipment.
