    Title: Production Assembly Technician

    Overview 

    Tessco is searching for a detail-oriented production Bench Technician to join our team in Reno, NV. Communication and teamwork are paramount. We require an individual that works well in a team environment under stressful situations and someone who is a self-starter capable of working alone on smaller projects. You will also aid in troubleshooting builds and production runs.   

    Responsibilities 

    • Communicate efficiently with a team during high stress jobs to ensure every product is built to specification
    • Read basic mechanical and electrical documentation
    • Use of various tools to complete builds
    • Use of cherry picker/wave/forklift to retrieve components as needed (must be able to tolerate heights up to 20 feet)
    • Quick and efficient troubleshooting of build issues within a team environment
    • Pick parts from our warehouse utilizing our internal systems
    • Packing the finished units into boxes 

    Qualifications 

    • Team oriented and deadline conscious
    • Strong communication abilities in a professional environment
    • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to interpret entry level mechanical and electrical schematics
    • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
    • Basic troubleshooting abilities
    • Basic computer knowledge (navigating windows and our own internal software)
    • Production/mechanical/wiring experience a plus
    • General tool usage (screw drivers/hammers/drills/wrenches/drill press/etc)
    • Flexibility to dynamically shift between complex production runs as required to meet deadlines 

    Compensation: $20/hour

    This position is on-site in Reno, NV
