Production Assistant

Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for General Production Assistant for our client located in Martinsville, VA. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (full time) Pay: $15.00 per hour.Temp to Hire Job Summary: In this role you will be a keen member of the team and learn responsibilities in multiple departments of the facility. As the production assistant you will assist and ensure the quality of the product whilst working to strict procedures along with consistent demonstrations of proper safety practices. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Receive and sort customer components. • Comfortable working with computers and various software applications. • Ability to manage spreadsheets, analyze and present data efficiently (Microsoft Excel/Word) • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during the full shift. • Whiling and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new digital tools or systems • Use of dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to transport material to the proper areas Position Requirements: • Reliable, Hard Worker, Motivated, Positive Attitude, Punctual, Respectful • Ability to independently and safely use and/or operate necessary machinery, tools and equipment. • Must work well with others and work independently • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Must be able to understand and comply with company and safety rules/policies • Must be able to lift up-to 49 lbs. • Must have reliable transportation. • Background Check/Drug Test To apply, please register online at www.debbiesstaffing.com and select Danville as the branch location.
