Production Assistant

  Summary

Qualified candidates for this position will have experience in Manufacturing with work order management – transacting reports, maintaining appropriate inventory levels for production lines, and assisting with manual inventory counts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•         Transact daily production reports, product transfers, and material transfers within MRP system
•         Cycle count work orders to maintain accuracy
•         Collect and maintain production reports
•         Assist Supervisors with productions jobs in process
•         Enter scrap from various reports
•         Work directly with Sales regarding new and existing orders
•         Run reports through Oracle to monitor material inventories
•        Utilization of MRP systems to obtain, monitor and order materials as needed
•        Ability to move about the plant to count inventory and adjust the system accordingly to maintain accuracy
•        Order materials for upcoming jobs, as well as help expedite jobs needed daily
•        All other duties from either written or verbally given from supervisor

Qualifications/Requirements

•        Two- or Four-year Technical Degree or equivalent experience
•        Minimum of 5 years in a Manufacturing Environment
•        MRP experience, preferably Oracle
