Please Note: Our West Henrietta location is not accessible by bus line. Reliable transportation is required.

The Pressroom General Worker role is designed to develop future Press Operators. You'll work directly with printing presses and learn the skills needed to advance into higher-level manufacturing positions. Many of our skilled operators started in entry-level roles just like this one!

What You'll DoAs a Pressroom General Worker, you'll support the operation of flexographic printing presses while learning the printing process from experienced operators.Responsibilities include:

Assist press operators during production runsPrepare inks, coatings, and press materialsMonitor coating viscosity and production qualityInspect printed materials for defects and quality standardsHelp with press wash-ups and changeoversMaintain material levels throughout productionRemove waste and keep work areas organizedSupport safety, quality, and production goalsLearn machine operation and advanced production processesPerform general manufacturing and production support activities

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED requiredManufacturing experience is helpful but not requiredPrinting experience is a plus but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsSelf-motivated and dependable

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periodsFrequent walking throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to safely work around production equipment and moving machineryAbility to perform physical activities including reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting

Vision Requirements

Vision correctable to 20/20Ability to distinguish colorsAbility to perform detailed quality inspections
