Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewInova Staffing is hiring a Pallet Machine Loader for our client in Middlefield, OH. This position is responsible for loading lumber into pallet-building machinery and helping keep the production process running efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.Job Responsibilities
- Load lumber into pallet-building machines, ensuring materials are properly aligned and positioned.
- Keep the machine supplied with lumber to maintain a steady production flow.
- Inspect lumber for defects such as warping, knots, cracks, or other imperfections.
- Remove or set aside materials that do not meet quality standards.
- Assist with unloading lumber and other materials from delivery trucks.
- Move and organize materials in designated areas.
- Follow production instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Perform other general production duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
- Basic understanding of machine operation and workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Must be comfortable working around machinery, noise, and wood dust.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and moving materials.
- Comfortable working in a noisy and dusty manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
