Production Associate - 1st Shift

Monday thru Thursday from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm

General Summary:
Position is an entry-level position within the manufacturing area, primarily responsible for performing extrusion duties within the production department. Ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost and meets customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with policies and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Obtains the correct documentation for the batch. Ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area. May be required to obtain the correct ingredients for mixing and weigh out the ingredients to meet the recipe specifications.
Sets up and starts any production machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures.
Notifies appropriate personnel of any issues, problems or concerns in a timely manner.
Safely and neatly processes materials, packages and/or skids material to correct size/container according to customer spe
