Production Associate - 2nd Shift

Nesco Resource in Elizabethtown is seeking production associates. Second shift hours are Mon-Fri 3:45 pm to 12:15 am. Must have overtime availability.

Job Duties:

• Operate molding machines and/or air-activated tools and equipment to assemble, decorate, or produce products
• Retrieve, separate, inspect, count, weigh, pack, and label parts according to written and/or oral instructions
• Utilize clippers, knives, screwdrivers, and other simple hand tools to trim, cut, and prepare parts for other operations per safety procedures
• Monitor and report machine malfunctions and quality variances such as flash, splay, contamination, underfill, etc., to supervision
• Compare, inspect, and monitor production quality against approved samples; accept, reject, or question deviations according to established standards
• Perform simple clerical tasks involving recording and summarizing production data
• Perform secondary operations such as examining, repairing, trimming, counting, and weighing parts as directed
• Maintain production rate and standards by performing tasks efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of work station and area per 5S requirements through routine cleaning chores
• Interface with production monitoring systems to track production metrics and output
• Assist in color changes and mold changes by cleaning work area or equipment and setting up for the next job (e.g., sample board, Operator Instruction Sheet, packaging)
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor to support production goals and team objectives

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred
• Ability to stand for entire work shift
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
