Being responsible for knowing where each step of the multiple jobs you are supporting are in their manufacturing processReviewing and understanding work orders, job routing information, and process instructions about each job you are runningObserving and operating machines including making necessary minor adjustmentsReport major machine problemsSetup, run, and inspect assemblies including final packaging and ready-for-ship processesConduct, as needed, secondary operations including assembly, packaging, trimming, cutting, and/or grindingExamine and test for quality and record such things as part counts and product dimensionsWhat is expected of a Production Associate? A successful Production Associate will exhibit professionalism and commitment to their work including demonstrating accountability, punctuality, and teamwork in a detailed and organized fashionA positive and supportive attitudeUnderstand the company mission and production processesAbility to secure knowledge and proper use of the tools and equipment necessary to complete the job promptlyMust be able to: Ability to stand and walk for periods of up to 4 hours and occasionally lift to 25 pounds.Strong detail orientation and good eyesight (aided or unaided) to see and work with very small componentsUnderstanding or ability to quickly learn basic measurements as required for production and quality-related tasks.Job Hours: 2nd Shift Full Time: Monday through Friday, 2 pm to 10 pmOccasional Overtime is required, with commensurate pay. We highly encourage employees to assist as much as they can with these efforts which could include the need to stay late or come in early to meet production needs.
