Production Associate

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Pay increases to $18.50 after 90 days. Converted to a permanent employee after 9 months!

Schedules:

• 1st, 2nd, or 3rd
• Shifts are typically 8, 10, or 12 hours. Start times can vary depending on the rotation hired for.

Job Duties

• Review production schedules, procedures, and specifications for equipment operation.
• Set up automated equipment by loading components, materials, feeders, fixtures, and chemicals.
• Start up, operate, and monitor automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
• Monitor product quality, inventory levels, and shelf-life of materials and chemicals.
• Record production and inventory data for tracking and process control.
• Perform equipment shutdown and cleaning procedures.
• Position involves standing for extended periods during the shift.

Requirements

• Entry level
• Lift (up to) 35 lbs and stack product safely
• You're good with your hands and can be "on-the-go" the full shift
• Keep it tight, stay safe, and back up your crew

What You Will Do

As a Production Associate you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The Production Associate supports manufacturing operations by performing production tasks that help create quality finished products. This role requires attention to detail, strong work habits, and the ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

A successful Production Associate understands production procedures, quality expectations, and workplace safety while maintaining productivity throughout daily operations. Dependable performance contributes directly to manufacturing success.
