Position Summary
Employnet is seeking dependable and motivated Production Associates to join our food manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist with the production, assembly, packaging, and quality inspection of ready-to-eat food products while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble ready-to-eat food products, including sandwiches, wraps, and snack items, on a fast-paced production line.
- Follow recipes, product specifications, and portion guidelines to ensure product consistency.
- Measure and prepare ingredients while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper packaging before distribution.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently while following standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Adhere to HACCP, USDA, and company food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals in a refrigerated environment.
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Assist with line setup, product changeovers, and general production support as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, or food processing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated production environment and follow strict food safety standards.
