Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will assist in the production, packaging, and quality inspection of cheese products while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and a commitment to food safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate production and packaging equipment according to company procedures.
- Package, label, and palletize finished products for shipment.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor production lines and report equipment malfunctions or product defects.
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP guidelines, and food safety regulations.
- Load raw materials and supplies onto production lines as needed.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, food processing, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and fast-paced production environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math and communication skills.
Must be able to work in cold conditions 22-33 degrees
