Description
- Key responsibilities/essential functions include cross training and working on any Fiber/Web equipment as necessary to meet schedule,
- Working with hazardous chemicals and preparing and maintaining accurate records,
- Logs and collecting necessary data for use by Engineering.
- In addition, the production associate complies with EHS regulations and policies including wearing required PPE and follows all Quality policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is desired.
- Basic math skills and measuring skills.
- Accuracy with both calipers and micrometers.
- Attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods.
- Must be able to read and write simple statements.
- Experience working with steel microfibers is desired.
