Production Associate
Job Location: Fairfield, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 2pm - 10:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude? Our client is looking for reliable Production Associates to join their Fairfield, CA team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on work, is willing to learn, and wants to build their skills in the advanced composites industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with production activities
- Learn to set up and operate production machinery with training and supervision
- Monitor equipment and perform hourly machine checks
- Inspect products for defects and quality issues
- Follow production and quality procedures
- Wrap, level, and prepare products for processing
- Load and unload materials from production equipment
- Package finished rolls and retrieve materials needed for production
- Safely dispose of hazardous materials and waste in designated areas
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well-established company that produces composite materials used in aerospace, sporting goods, motorsports, military, and industrial applications.
Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous production or composites experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when needed
