Production Associate General Labor
Pay Rate: paid weekly
Schedule: Monday - Friday
- 1st Shift: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM - $17.25/hour
- 2nd Shift: 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM - $18.75/hour
- 3rd Shift: 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM - $19.25/hour
Location: Ennis, TX 75119
Duration: 1-Year Assignment
Overview
Support manufacturing operations by producing high-quality window components in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for operating equipment, assembling products, inspecting quality, and maintaining a safe, clean work area while contributing to overall production goals.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Cut, process, and assemble window components using hand tools and production equipment.
- Load machines and perform routine material handling tasks.
- Pack, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Inspect products and equipment to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production goals.
- Cross-train in multiple production areas and assist with housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to:
- Understand safety procedures, hazard warnings, and operating instructions.
- Complete production records, quality documentation, and incident reports.
- Communicate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new processes and cross-train in multiple production areas.
- Positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
Physical Requirements
- Work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery and varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, climb, crawl, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
