As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in meeting our production demands while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Job Overview
Shift: Monday – Friday, 4pm - 1:30am. Shift schedules could include weekends. Hours are subject to business needs.
Note: Solid transportation is required. Steel-toed shoes are necessary, but we may provide composite safety shoe covers if needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow directions from the supervisor to meet production goals.
- Transfer products from filler to chiller and organize them in the WIP area.
- Ensure product alignment in the Garvey table area.
- Rework products that are below specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following the "5 S" program.
- Promote a safe work environment at all times.
- Comply with HACCP principles, Good Manufacturing Practices, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including transferring to the Kitchen area as needed.
Requirements
- 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
- Comfortable working in cold environments (38°F) and noisy settings.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
Preferences
- High School diploma or GED-equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Prior knowledge of the food industry.
