Job Details

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 4pm - 1:30am. Shift schedules could include weekends. Hours subject to business needs.
• Location: Hicksville, NY
• Safety Gear: Steel Toe shoes required (composite safety shoe covers may be provided).

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor directions to meet production demands.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Transfer carts of production in and out of chillers, maintaining order in the WIP area.
• Rework products that are below specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following the "5 S” program.
• Promote a safe work environment at all times.
• Follow HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including transferring to the kitchen area as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment (38°F) and wearing PPE.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, and lifting.

Preferences

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Prior food industry knowledge is advantageous.
