As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for supporting production demands while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. This role requires working closely with supervisors and team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Stand for up to 10 hours a day and work in cold environments, including chiller rooms at 38°F.
- Transfer carts of production in and out of chillers and organize them in the WIP area.
- Ensure product alignment and flip trays in chillers as needed.
- Rework products below specifications and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Promote a safe work environment and comply with HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including transferring to the kitchen area when necessary.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes (provided if necessary).
- Ability to work in noisy environments and across various temperature zones.
Preferences
- High School diploma or GED-equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Prior experience in the food industry.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 4pm - 1:30am. Shift schedules could include weekends, subject to business needs.
