Operation of the Assembly line by using the established processes/TPM objectives while working together in a team environment. Accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by management.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Perform line start up.
Load/Assemble/Weld parts.
Correct machine problems.
Inspect parts for defects.
Maintain equipment using the TPM process.
Know and adhere to safety procedures.
Follow process procedures for Assembly.
Maintain housekeeping requirements.
Initiate quality improvements and assist in concern resolution.
Maintain production efficiencies.
Operate a fork truck in a high traffic production based setting safely.
Participate in improvement activities using 5S/TPM processes.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
General knowledge of quality systems.
Able to identify sheet metal/aluminum defects.
Basic knowledge using an ERP system.
Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day.
Hand and eye coordination.
Ability to tolerate standing for 8 hours or more.
