What You Will Achieve
The Production Associate\xa0I - Collagen performs activities involved in the production of Collagen\xa0\xa0These activities include but are not limited to protein purifications filtrations and titrations in the production of high quality purified sterile collagen for both internal and external customers.\xa0\xa0This position requires working in a regulated area under the direct supervision of a team leader or departmental supervisor.\xa0

How You Will Achieve It
\tResponsible for producing collagen by performing protein extraction and purification filtrations and dilutions and chemical sterilizations following cGMPs \tResponsible for performing in process testing including assays titrations and other color indicator testing \tResponsible for running specialized equipment including a continuous flow centrifuge \tResponsible for cleaning and assembling glassware and equipment for sterilization \tResponsible for completing production documentation in a timely manner \tResponsible for performing all tasks in compliance with company safety policies especially involving chemical safety and proper lifting techniques \tProvide assistance with process optimization and scale-up activities if necessary \tMay provide assistance to Engineering and Facilities Departments as necessary for equipment operation during calibration validation or repair \tMaintain laboratory inventory supply \tResponsible for writing of deviation reports as necessary RequirementsWhat You Need to Achieve It
\tB.S. or A.S. in a biological science or equivalent and 0-2 years of relevant experience. \tQuality Systems regulations cGMP knowledge and clean room experience preferred but not required. \tHave some knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and equipment such as using pipets and balances \tHave physical abilities that include the ability to lift up and pushpull per the safety requirements and have good dexterity \tHave the ability to work in cold room conditions 2-8°C \tHave the ability to closely follow procedures and a good attention to detail \tHave good written and verbal communication skills \tHave good problem solving skills

\tA pre-employment physical and lift test is required for this role \tAbility to work in a cleanroom environment for extend periods of time. \tMust have the ability to work in cold room conditions 2-8 degrees C \tMust have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is\xa024.04 - 24.04 per hour and reflects current market data for similarly-sized life science companies and internal equity.\xa0 Organogenesis is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based increases eligibility for our 401k plan with competitive company match medical dental vision education assistance life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state and federal law.\xa0 Our time-off policy includes paid vacation days paid company holidays and paid sick time.\xa0 Total compensation including base salary to be offered will depend on elements unique to each candidate including candidate experience skills education and other factors permitted by law.
