Production Associate I

Job Summary

Our client, a leading meat production and processing company, is seeking 5 Production Associate I team members for their facility in Hampshire, IL. This role supports daily production operations including packing, palletizing, staging products, and assisting with machine operations while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Pack, palletize, and stage products for shipment
- Assist with machine operations on the production line
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and safety protocols
- Meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by production leadership

Required Qualifications

- Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and work for long shifts
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods
- Steel toe or composite toe boots required on Day 1 (tennis shoes and regular shoes are not permitted)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments
- Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards
- Experience with palletizing or packaging equipment

About the Role

- Contract Duration: Long-term contingent assignment (approximately 5,200 total hours across positions)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM start time; expect 10-12 hour shifts based on production needs (no set end time)
- Hours: Approximately 40-60 hours per week
- Location: 200 Flannigan Rd, Hampshire, IL 60140 (on-site; travel not required)
- Environment: Cold production/manufacturing setting within a meat processing facility
- Rate: Competitive
